Keep your heads, crank, and block. Install better rods and pistons. Keep the blower you have if you cannot afford the upgrade. Spray a 125 shot out of the hole and it's a done deal. Plus 2 poweradders are twice the fun. If you run it as a wet kit it should be plug and play. Just shoot for a combined AFR of 11.2-11.5 and it will be safe.

Does the $1,500 include putting the block into the car and getting it running?Originally posted by Cobraman View PostYeah. I'll pay $1500 for a ready to go, already broken in motor. Lol. I took plenty of useful advice, but there was a lot of stupid advice as usual. I choose to listen to my tuner in most cases. What advice did I not take? I spent under $2500 all inclusive, which is pretty dang good. Not to mention I'm an 18yo that built and paid for his own kit, with only help from friends. What other eighteen year old built/paid for a car like this?Originally posted by SVT Lurch View PostDoes the $1,500 include putting the block into the car and getting it running?

It worked perfectly. Of course the motor was gonna go, I knew that. Why do you think I posted up about a shortblock this week? It took months of me beating the piss out of it to break. 130k motor with boost? It's doomed.2012 GT500
