Max lift has very little to do with PVC due to the fact that the piston is at the bottom of its stroke when the valve is at max lift. You really look at all of it as a whole or the amount of duration and the ramp rates of the cam lobe profile. In the case everyone is correct with saying the TFS II is too much due to its 224/232 durations and an overlap of 4 degrees at .05".Originally posted by Z06killinsbf View PostMax lift for a stock motor is around .544.
.542"/.563" valve lift w/1.6
.575"/.598" valve lift w/1.7
Im assuming you already know this. just clarifying =)1993 Vibrant Red Cobra #1741.

lol yes that is what he meant. overall the stock cam can perform well but in this case with the gt40s id look at the comp xe270hr-12, N-21, or TFS 1.Originally posted by Jimbo View PostMy little girl came home from elementary school trying to use the word "beast" as a slang term (I put a stop to it). Perhaps that was what he was doing.1993 Vibrant Red Cobra #1741.
