Which would be the quietest? I really like how quiet that borlas are even though they are dumped but i guess there too free flowing and im not getting that low end torque that i used to have even with my 4.10's

The conventional Magnaflows would be the quietest and still sound good.

z06killingsbf: do you think that the magnaflows might help problem though?

I think the small muffler is hurting you. I'm a believer of large, free flowing exhaust. I'd at least entertain the idea of running the MF's but it really ends up what you want it to sound like. The PC is supposed to help build the low end back and be a mix of X and H. Try changing the tune on it as well, what was the exhaust prior to?

So you believe maybe a 3" may help. What about a 2.5"? Thats what i had understood as well about the PC. I was running cherrybomb glasspacks i had laying around, shorty bbk's and a regular h pipe.

For a street car 2.5 would be fine. I only say 3" because it's something that could help get a few extra ponies. Is it worth it? That depends on you and how much you want to spend.

Do you think that, maybe the design of the muffler(straight flow) may be the cause? Because I believe that they are similar to magnaflows in design. Maybe some mac pro's may help

Straight through is the way to go for performance. I'm not sure what the Mac pro design is. Do what you want though.

I find it hard to believe that your exhaust did all that to the performance. Perhaps your buttometer needs some adjusting. Loss of low end is nothing a good tune and 32ยบ of timing below 2500 rpm wouldn't fix.

We'll the reason it feels much slower is that the car used to have a really good take off from a stop. Now it feels a little sluggish till it hits the 2500 rpm and then it flys. Im running the timing at 14 right now and i was playing with the fuel pressure and have it at 43 since that is what i have been told was good for it even though it seems rather high. Maybe its time to get it tuned.

I ran 18 on my fox. Depending how old your valve train/timing chain plus a cam or not effects timing tolerances.

why wouldn't you just go with the borla's and forget the prochamber ? you can have the muffler shop open them up to 2 1/2 in. I have always run Borla on all my cars with no loss in power, plus they save weight.

I ran hooker super comps with a pro chamber, and 2 chamber flows. It was so loud, it was at the point where you you could not even hear the stereo while driving.
