  • Drag radials

Who here is running drag radials on 17"+ wheels and how effective are they? I'm looking at running some 245-255/45 17" DR's and wanted someone's opinion from who has experience running them. Thanks

ive ran 315 nitto drags and now have bfg drags, nittos will last the longest but not as sticky as the bfgs. haven't tried the mickeys yet. those are next.

Everyone claims to have a nasty-fast street Mustang. That begs the question, just what exactly is a street car. What does it mean? Zaid's setup has all of the wrappings of a true street fighter: he drives it to the track and doesn't even change the tires, and it's bad fast!

I ran 275/40-17's Mickey's on my turbo fox with 1.6 60's. There are people cutting 1.4's with them.

I don't think I can fit a 275 under my car. Might have to trim the fenders a bit.

I've only used M/T's on my 68. First I had 275/50/15's but they rubbed a little. Now I have 255/60/15's and they both hook real well with my combo. I know there not 17's but, that's' my advice.

I thought it would suck going to a more narrow tire, and that it might not hook as good, but the 255 is fine.

IMO, you should put a 255 (they seem to fit good on classics) on it and it will hook just fine on your combo.

He needs drag radials for a 4.3 Silverado lol. I don't think he ever ran any, when he had his coupe.
