your car is running similar to mine. about all I can trap is 79-80 with the stock gt40 heads/e cam/3.73 and street tires.

Mine was trapping 85mph with gt40 heads, e cam, 1.6/1.7 rockers and 3.73. Had some weight savings but a full interior. The key is wheel speed with the combo. 26" tire is where it is at. A little spin is Okay to get the wheel speed up. A dead hook, with a slick, at this power level, in my opinion, is detrimental to your ET. Best on only 8 degrees of timing was a 8.1, ~1.6 60'. With a 175 shot was a 7.2x at 97mph 1.54 60'

Im a tad heavy at 3450. I run 10 degrees base time with 36 total. I wish I could get an 85 mph trap

Why would you not fix this after it was discovered at the cruise?

I honestly did not have time last week, and the track day was last minute. I should have time later in the week to get it fixed.

Its just the driver tire. I told the guy the had to be mounted a certain way, and he still mounted one backwards. Ill have it fixed this week.
