  • Fox Hatch Rear Seat Delete - DIY?

Anyone done this without buying a pre-fab kit? My back seats are out right now... and I'd like to explore options before putting them back in...

I pulled the back part of the seat out and just left the bottom. I liked how it looked..lol

I made at least 100 back in the day. you just need to cut the bottom part out of particle board and cover with carpet of choice.

Make a template with cardboard first. It will all cost you about $20

I took my whole seat out and didn't notice a thing.

I'm not doing it for weight... Just purpose... I pulled the rear seats to replace carpet and dye panels... and now I'm just like, whats the point of putting them back in?! Nobody is ever going to sit in them.... I dunno.
