I was under the impression that the A1000 had -10 AN in/out, but this pump I picked up off a buddy of mine is def. an A1000 and def. -12 inlet.
I assume this wont be an issue (other then needing a -10 to -12 fitting for my filter).

which I hear have a great deal of problems (esp. w/high heat and cavitation). Only other option would be a marine A1000 which have -12 inlets. I will try calling Aeromotive but it doesn't appear (other then the date) that there are any unique markings on this to determine which pump it is. I wish Aeromotive would have made the pumps more easily distinguishable.
