Honestly, I wouldn't waste your time chasing your tail on this. I would go straight to Ed at FTI with this discussion, he's the one that's designing the cam to your specifications. If you're wanting to change things up he will be the one that will be able to tell you what you can and should do and also what can but shouldn't do. His mind is like a complete knowledge database for putting together powerful and efficient engines, cars in general, racing, and the list goes on. I'm not a nuthugger, but the guy has been around forever and raced competitively for years and he's good at what he does. Let him help you, after all, you're paying for the cam, might as well get the free knowledge that goes with it to help you maximize the combination that you're putting together. That's just my opinion though.Originally posted by projectPONY View PostOk, let's say I were to go with the Victor EFI. At that point, could the cam, custom of course, be designed to bring the power band down a bit? What would be lost?

This is what I would do too.Originally posted by Diabolic View PostSuper Victor Carb style intake, 90 mm elbow, and 90mm tb, TFS R ported lower with Box upper would be my 2 choices for that setup. If you wanted to pony up the cash you could even go for the carb style tb on top of that Super Victor intake.
