Thunde, if you follow this advice let me know. I've got two sets of 1.7 Crane/Cobra rockers.Originally posted by Blackpony View Postneither, go with a set of 1.7 rockers with the stock cam and save your self some money and a broken heart when you dont gain any power from the cam.

that means its missing 4 lobes and 2 journals so that the engine only runs on 6 cylinders.Originally posted by FoxBodyNick View PostI dont understand this 3/4 race cam shit lol. some guy asked me last night if i had a 3/4 race cam in my car... and I was like uh its a mild duration and lift cam I guess. haha.

I guess if there was only 3 cam grinds then 1/2, 3/4, and full would make sense... But there isnt and it tells you nothing about the cam itself. lol guess it just kinda made me laugh when he asked. And yep Im only 23, not up with the 50s terminology

Trust me, it didn't mean that much to us back in the day. If you had a Chevy, you ran a Duntov cam, if you had a Ford you ran a Shelby cam, and Mopars ran Purple Stripes.Originally posted by FoxBodyNick View PostI guess if there was only 3 cam grinds then 1/2, 3/4, and full would make sense...
