  • What motor for the 85?

I am on the fence between EFI and carb. I want a car as reliable as my 93, but be able to make around 400 hp, with a/c

I think a 03-04 swap would be killer. I just don't know in the end if it would be worth it. Money vs Time vs end power.

The first thing you need to address is: What is your budget?
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I vote a ls swap, even something on the side of daily driver.

What about a 4.8 v8 swap? I know the 6.0 is the better option but those 4.8 run pretty damn strong.

Guy in denton has a regualar cab short bed, 4.8 with 150 or 175 shot running in the 7s on street tires. Put that in a coupe with a 6 speed and you'll have awesome performance cheaply while dragging that ass.

I'm considering an ls swap in the future, future.,

Look at dvillegt's car, that thing is sweet.

If I do it it will be a 6.0, I saw a 4.8 put down damn nice numbers before, but displacement rules.

Nothing beats blowing the doors off guys with bigger motors. When you include power adders, displacement is voided. Lol

True. I dunno, since I plan on a pro touring car, this is a real option.

The swap is simple, cheap and awesome so I don't see any negatives, besides requiring an aje kmember w/ ls mounts lol
