Lol@ mafs requiring certain lb injectors. Where does this horrible idea come from?
Old way of doing things. It goes with setting the timing with the distributor and adjusting fuel pressure manually instead of changing variables in the ECM.
It works and some cars can run good with "tune by ear" tunes.
Mass air measures a voltage change across a heated wire, air flows across cools the wire, resistance changes causing the voltage to drop/increase. All maf work the same, it's the parameters that change. X airflow : x voltage. They all range from 0-5v.

I think I'm just going to buy the reducers for the pipe I have now, I can get them both for 35$.
