Just got to know how to row through the gears playa, and cutting a good light and 60ft are paramount...Originally posted by SonicblueGT03 View Post5.0 magazine did an All Coyote Shootout at MIR late last year, and IIRC, the fastest stock tire 5.0 ran 11.8x @ 116 or so. Still not sure how they managed to hook at all on those damn Pirelli tires.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

I can shift with the best of them, been doing this a long time, but launching on the stock Pirellis was an exercise in frustration. 1500 RPM and all was good, but try 1550 RPM and it would blow the tires off. And then I watched a guy at MIR last year launch his on Pirellis at what had to be 3500 and cut a 1.8x 60'. I bow before anyone who can do that! LOL! As for me, I'll stick with my DR's.Originally posted by Rick Modena View PostJust got to know how to row through the gears playa, and cutting a good light and 60ft are paramount...

I'm curious how big a difference the JLT would make... it'd be interesting to run you and see how much you pull on me. I have a drop in K&N, offroad H, and an AED tune. I'm guessing only 400 to the wheels for me, but it feels like a lot more.Originally posted by 5.Uh-Oh View PostI have 13k miles with my ghost cam zero issues, car dyno'd 421RWHP with JLT intake , o/r X , hush power flowmaster mufflers , and the LUND tune.

Your car sounds great, but it's silly loud too. I'm too old to have a car that loud now. Haha.Originally posted by 5.Uh-Oh View PostI have 13k miles with my ghost cam zero issues, car dyno'd 421RWHP with JLT intake , o/r X , hush power flowmaster mufflers , and the LUND tune.
That's a good thought. I'd love to see how that works out. As I said in the other thread, I'm conflicted on what to do now in regards to doing a CAI or not.Originally posted by mustang_marc View PostI'm curious how big a difference the JLT would make... it'd be interesting to run you and see how much you pull on me. I'm going to hold off on doing a CAI on mine, partially because I don't want to buy any mods that don't mesh well with my long term plans (blower) and partially because I think the majority of the gains are from the tune. I could be wrong and be leaving some HP on the table, but I'm ok with that. That's $300 I could put toward the KB. I've parted $1200 off of the foxbody so far... only $5200 more before I can buy my tuner kit! LOL!

I agree Dougles, the power is coming from the tune. A K&N is fine and like you mentioned the Tuner Kit will come with its own CAI.Originally posted by Doug Hatton View PostI'm going to hold off on doing a CAI on mine, partially because I don't want to buy any mods that don't mesh well with my long term plans (blower) and partially because I think the majority of the gains are from the tune.
