  • Anyone using a co2 boost controller on the street using WOT switch activation?

I am using a Boost Leash (very similar to the AMS1000), and got to thinking about how I can use it on the street and the track. Currently have the launch stage activated with my transbrake, as soon as I let go of the tbrake it takes me through the stages I have programmed. At the end of the run it maintains the pressure of the last stage (which I have set to my launch psi for ease of use).

My current setup @ 15psi is too much for the street, it will spin the 275's at any speed under full boost. When the boost comes in it picks up so much power so fast it will spin.

What I am thinking about doing is hooking up a WOT switch to activate the stages when on the street and using the tbrake to activate the launch stage/stages when on the track.

I figure I can come up with a smooth boost curve to bring the boost in more linearly vs. just a huge spike.

Anyone else using a WOT switch to activate the boost controller on the street?

I just roll around on spring pressure, thats enough to outrun 99% of the cars anyway.

I would think a wot switch would work. As a momentary that triggers the control box to let it roll into boost and maintain traction until the car gets rolling good. Just have to work out how much the tires will take as speed increases. Just have to remember on the street things might take longer than 15 seconds.

Not true IMO. If he wants to setup some races I could get him some cars that will DRAG that car on spring pressure.
