Soft brake pedal on '85 GT

It's my daily driver.

The combo is GT40 crate motor with GT40 aluminum heads. E-cam and 1.7's. Cobra intake with 24lb'ers. Aluminum radiator with SN-95 fan shroud and Taurus fan motor. MSD dist/wires. Mass air converted. 3G alt converted. T56 with aluminum driveshaft. 3.55's in the rear. Maximum Motorsports coil overs with Koni reds up front and tubular lower A-arms. 4 point K-member brace and strut tower brace. MM rear lower control arms with H&R Super Sport springs in the rear with Koni reds. FRPP shorties, Bassani O/R X-pipe and Mac mufflers with stainless tail pipes. Rolling on a set of black Draglites with Nitto Drags on the back and M/T Sportsmans on the front. Ummmmmm, LOL, I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting !!

I just had one of the paint guys up here at work spray them. Now that I know how BAD ASS they look (LOL !) I will have them blasted and powder coated.

I don't have any good pics of it yet. I'm actually posting on my phone from work right now, or I would take a quick picture with my camera and post it. It's hard to see, but the picture in my avatar is with the black Draglites.

Yes, I meant rank when I said title. I wouldn't risk my car over some smack talk. My car weighs close to 3400lbs without a driver. All that being said, ill polish up my tailights real nice for Scott's viewing pleasure.

If I remember correctly the previous owner said it was built in '01. I haven't done a compression check. Every once in a while when I start it up it will kick out a BIG cloud of white smoke. It happens very rarely though. It still runs pretty good though. When the heads were off a few months back to put head gaskets on it, Paul said there wasn't much cross hatching left in the cylinders.

I'm going to buy a beater soon so I don't have to drive the car every day. Then I'll be ok with having the engine out of it for longer than a weekend. I need a new clutch too.

I actually thought about stepping up to a 351, but not sure if I want to spend all the extra money on the other shit I would need to go with the bigger Windsor.

There is money to spend but let me tell ya , its worth it . I always watch for swap parts on all the boards and it can be done petty cheap . It never ends so the more room you leave for growth the beter and even a mild windsor in a driver is a blast with all that torque . I have one in my heavy ass 86 vert with an auto and it always puts a smile on my face .
