Feedback on "Cold Air Induction"

The new V6ers get really loud after 4500 RPMs with the CAI. IMO, like everybody else said, get the box filter.

I took the time to open up the stock airbox, & follow the factory air duct. The air duct is 2.5" by 6.75" & goes straight the core support & pulls air from beside the headlight. Only a gentle curve & no obstructions.

If you cut out the solid plastic honeycomb at the left side ofthe grill, you'll have a functional ram air system.

The factory setup is well designed & needs no replacement

Actually, if you feel inside of the tube, there are several "silencer" pieces that cause an obstruction. The open filter design and large filter allow for a major improvement in airflow.
