Should we be talking about our orifices publicly? :-)

I'm not an A/C expert but my guess is no. As far as I know, you dial in the Hose Wizard kit by adjusting the screw on top of the dryer, allowing the compressor to cycle quicker or slower. Mine still could probably be adjusted down a little.

It seems odd that it was cooling and then quit. Makes me think it's overcharged or floating debris got stuck somewhere. Compressor noise on start plus 120 low side (if cool) support overcharge theory, does the compressor start turning and quiet down? Do you have pressure readings when running?

If I already use my AC for air only, have I already contaminated the system?

For air, as in a vent for outside air to the passenger compartment? Has the A/C system been opened or left open, or just opened momentarily for work?

Does anyone make a parallel flow condenser that fits in a fox and hooks up the same?

Since lines were left loose I would definitely flush it just to be on the safe side and replace the dryer.

Ok. See that now. A 95 IS a a parallel flow condensor. Plus it larger in size. Got it to fit (notched core support) and still had room for intercooler and big radaitor.

The bigger the better. Good to know that the sn95 one will fit with a little mod.

Update. She's blowing cold again after replacing the compressor. Havent measured vent temp but I expect them to be pretty high with100 deg temps outside. Little limo tint and il be ready to chill.lol

I tried to get one of these in parallel flow about 2 years ago when i put my 92 together. Turns out that they offer parrallel flow, but not for a foxbody.

I went on eBay, found a guy that sold condensors. He had a drop in parrallel flow condensor for foxes. Unfortunately, I did not keep the contact info. Gonna have to search eBay if you want to find one.

I think if everything is working right, the low pressure switch will keep vent air at about 50 degrees. That is after you have cooled down a heat soaked car. I have bypassed the low pressure switch, and in the shade on a normal day I can get 38 degree air. Of course that is with out the low pressure switch cycling the compressor.
