what to mod on a 2002 GT auto

this is for a friend who just bought the car and wants more power and quickness but nothing to crazy? and no nitrous(i already suggested lol)

i suggested a PI stall(not sure what size though)
headers(maybe,maybe not?)

Boost it or sell it. Those cars don't make much power without f/i.

Tell him to not waste his money, Those cars are slow and it costs way too much too even make them respectable, but they still get drug.

Just trying to save the guy some money and heartache !!! Our 02 GT is still as slow as it was the day it rolled off the showroom floor because I wont waste my money.

yea I know but hes young and its his first car so you know how that goes he wants to mod and probably be ok for him to start out with a turd and just make it a bit quicker!

Put an ls3 in it. Call it day, the motors are pretty cheap to cone by now, 3000 will get you a low milage one.

WTF? its a 2V? do they make trick flows for it and if so its not gonna put down 400rwhp NA now maybe with a 150 shot or a turbo or supercharger but he should be ok with full exhaust,gears,stall,CAI,tune,and maybe a mass air swap? what would that put him at horsepower wise around 280rwhp? and then 400 with a 150 hit of juice?

i just put one of my dry kits on a stock everything 02 vert down to the radials. goes 9.20's on motor. 8.50's on a .040 pill.
