Your gonna think i'm crazy but there is a cheaper permanent fix for those cheap ass plastic bushings. Take it apart, clean all broken pieces out and put 3 steel ball bearings in there(where the bushings go). Pack it with grease and put the cover on. I swear it works, done it dozens of times.Originally posted by Vertnut View PostNot that I'm aware of, but they're pretty easy to get to. Also, don't buy new/used motors. 90% of the time, a cheap $15 "rebuild" kit (consisting of 3 plastic bushings) will cure them.

I'm sure that would work great. I was told that the reason they used the plastic was so that if something needed to "give", it would be those and not the gear on the motor.Originally posted by JimD View PostYour gonna think i'm crazy but there is a cheaper permanent fix for those cheap ass plastic bushings.
