  • What's your favorite late 60's convertible?

I'm seriously considering selling the bronco & building a similar year convertible...

I would love to have a Ford, since I have 90% of my engine knowledge based around the 302/351 (and I already have a roller 351, nice heads, gt40 intake, mustang EFI), but I would probably stab an LS1 in to anything else. Sorry purists-

    Chevy's, Pontiacs, Olds, etc-

    What are your favorites?

Thanks for any & all ideas

'67 Catalina, either a vert or a wagon, always loved these cars.

I've been lusting over the el Dorado and Deville's lately, though a 4x4 will likely be a first priority.

You'll need a stout SBF, but a decent 428 would be tits. I love these.

        And I'll take the Bronco.

I had a '66 7-litre (428) Galaxy 'vert for a short while in the early 80's. It was a very nice 1-owner car. It was comfy and drew a decent crowd. Had it about a month and some old guy just had to have it and threw some money at me.
A friend had a '69 Torino (like the one pictured above) that also had a 428 in it. It was very nice and always drew a crowd. Plus, it ran like stink.

not that I'm a huge fan of the camaro, but the wheels on those you posted are just gross.
