Seat sliders: what's the best way to do this?

I've got that first setup for the most part. The mounted rails went to the cage (welded) and the seat bolted to that (welded to brackets with no sliders). Is that similar to what you're doing in the 'Mont?

We have the seats on the factory sliders bolted to the floor. The way yours is done is stronger and safer IMHO, but we dont have enough head room to have ours that way without major surgery on the floors.

Not fully legal. and the seat is set up for someone who is 6'3". With a 5 point harness it's a PITA to drive for sure.
