I dont know of anywhere in DFW that stocks fbody parts.i would suggest the BMR 1" springs. Had eibach sportlines and pro kit and rode AWFUL. My 98 Trans AM has the following and rides good

BMR 1" lowering springs (lowers more than 1")
    kyb agx 8 way shocks
founders performance lower control arms and relocation brackets
founders performance on car adjustable panhard
    BMR adjustable torque arm.
    Founders performance strut tower brace

I would definitley check out founders performance to get what parts you can. 1/2 the price of bmr/umi etc, and same level of quality. Theyre supposedly coming out with their torque arm soon but i was in a hurry.

heres how the car currently sits:

It been a while since I had cats on my ls1 but the cat is welded to the exhaust manifold. You might as well just have an exhaust shop cut your cats out for you and weld in straight pipe.

they are not welded to the manifolds, theyre bolt in from the factory.
