I replaced mine, but I used the ones with the factory holes. My car was wrecked when I bought it, so drilling out the spot welds holding them on was a bit of a challenge. My core support was also trashed, so I didn't need to separate them from it, I just pulled it too. Mine fit great, and welded in with no issues, after the frame was pulled straight. I was charged $800 to pull the frame, weld in the aprons and core support, and paint all of it, after i removed all the old parts. I would expect it would be $1000-1500 if you just took it somewhere and asked them to install them, but that's just a guess. I would rate it an 8 on a scale of 1-10 on the pain-in-the-ass-o-meter.

I have cut out the factory and made my own. Scott fab rod also makes premade ones.
