need help, 87-93 mazda b2200 valve cover

bought a clean mazda b2200, only issue is the valve cover cracked on a corner due to someone trying to tighten down on a leaky valve cover gasket instead of replacing with a new one. i took it off and had a welder suggested by a local mechanic to weld it but to be perfectly honest it looks like dogshit. i doubt it will maintain a seal & doubt any other welders will want to touch it now. i need a used valve cover but since they are aluminum they are really hard to come by. i have searched every page on ebay, but only valve cover gasket sets pop up unless i'm looking in the wrong place. for the fun of it i called the dealer and they have 8 but all in cali and they want $275 for one. i have called numerous junk yards but most of them have the entire motors pulled or have been stripped down already. if anyone has a lead on one please post up or send me a pm. here is what it the engine compartment looks like for the carb'd models

I went to tascafordparts.com and looked up a 87 mazda b2200 w/o fuel injections and they want $209.

i had an 87. i put that thing through hell and back. it got crushed in 96 when i bought my first new vehicle. 96 f150.
