getting a steering wheel recovered

Anyone done this? I really don't want it RE-covered as much as I would like it thicker, like the Cobras. Double wrapped I guess?

it's in a 96 GT, but the wheel is from a 02 GT

I did mine.. Got it from redline. Left some stiching kinda loose but that is easy fix..

Comes with padding so it's a lil thicker and softer than stock
