  • Spider Gears in Differential

I had my smaller spider gears roll out of my differential today when replacing my diff and axles. How do I get them back in? I can't seem to get them lined back up properly. Am I better off taking it to True Street and having them do it for me?

This is on the new diff, so it is not in the car if that helps

I'm in McKinney. I'll stop by on Tuesday, the whole rear end is out of the car, I may just have you guys reinstall the gears in the diff and set the backlash for me.

          Thanks

I can swing by and help you get them lined back up if you want. No big deal.

I've had that happen to me a few different times on a few different vehicles. I didn't find it to be a big deal getting them back in. You need to be sure to take the s clip out, then it's easy.
