50oz to 28oz balance?

I am looking at balancing a stock 5.0 with pistons that are 100g lighter than stock, does anyone have any experience with this and how much metal would be required to balance the crank to 28oz(hopefully not much)?

to move some of that weight inside the crankcase instead of hanging it on the outside

Zero balance it, then you can get a neutral balance flywheel and harmonic balancer.

I don't wanna throw that much $$$ into a stockish rebuild, i'm sure it'd require a ton of metal to zero it.

28oz is preferred in most applications. Less weight flying around on the nose of the crank.

Not sure about the SBF stuff, but it's not that big of a deal to balance a SBC.

well if you want to zero balance you gotta take that weight into the crank counterweights which is $$$ for the heavy metal needed.

Best I recall it's only cost me somewhere around 250 to zero balance a bottom end. /shrug
