96 cobra cai kit info

what would be the best cai for my 96 cobra? its all stock except exhaust. k&n,c&l,jlt,bbk,mac? thanks for any suggestions

C &L will let you keep a strut tower brace, if that applies. but probably will show the least performance increase. Its what I've got.

C&L looks the best and the power gains on these cars are VERY minimal anyway. The others are good also but as already mentioned you can have a tower brace with the C&L and it comes with a nitrous boss if your into that.

i would like to keep the brace but c&l is expensive for the hp gain u get. they claim around 15hp gain but i dont trust it

If you want to keep the strut tower, get the C&L. Don't worry about hp claims as that is probably not your only mod you will be doing. Other mods will yeild better results because your car has a CAI. It is only a hp claim on a stock application.

I've got an old C&L off my old Mystic. I ran it til I put a Vortech on it. It's the MAF, filter, and inlet pipe. I'll sell it to ya if you're interested.
