I had some major issues with the handling of the car last month in Hallett, I jacked it up to check the hub and the wheel was moving around 3/4", the front LCA bushings were F'd, ended my weekend Could have been worse, when I got on the brakes the car was all over the place, went 2 off a couple of times when braking cause it would pull hard to the right. I am going to install the mazdaspeed rubber bushings$$$$, they are 40% stiffer than stock and should last damn near forever, car is going to be street/track so I don't want to go solid.
First, I'd go with ES over Prothane all week long.

Second, hardly anybody properly lubricates poly bushings. The install -with substandard lubrication- and forget. And then have issues down the road.

Get the correct poly bushings from ES. While you're waiting, drop by a NAPA and pick up a tube of Syl-Glyde. It is a synthetic grease good from -30 to 600 F.
When you install the bushings. LIBERALLY use the grease everywhere. Use it between the bolt and the sleeve, the sleeve and the poly, and ANYWHERE you see where there may be friction.
And continue to drive the s**t out of it.

I had one split in half, may have been too tight. Going back to rubber. For the sway bar end links.

For a race car, too soft... Street car? You drive it like a boss if you wear them out in a year.

not any different than the rubber they replace. They just aren't hard enough to resist force. Delrin or heim is the only way to go....
