Where can i locate the two ground wires that go to the instrument cluster on a 92 mustang gt? Im having an issue with it blowing my #4 fusewhich is a 15 amp?

I doubt its the ground.. pull the tail light bulbs and the front parking light bulbs.. see if it still blows the fuse. Might have a bad socket.Doug

Well as soon as i hit the headlight switch the fuse blows immediately. Now if i take #13 fuse out which is a 5amp number #4 fuse wont blow. what does that lead u to beleave?Comment

13 is the fuse for the instrument cluster lights. My guess the the power wires to the lights has melted and is shorting out. Working on the harness sucks.. could be the mater light switch too.Originally posted by 89ghost View PostDoug

Yup. Direct short. Those are easy to find when its active and not intermittent. Do you have a meter with a tone setting?! Follow it to the grounded wire thats causing it to short../ ____ _ _\.
