  • Headliner Replacement Question.

Has anyone ever done this? Is there an easy way to remove the old adhesive? It's kinda orange looking and stains my car fabric that it touches.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Edit: I don't think I have the headliner has foam in it. If that matters at all.

use a fine wire wheel on a grinder or drill. works faster and removes more material. Makes a mess though
          One day at a time.

X2 on the wire wheel, just don't grind down the cardboard...

Just a Large wire brush and some elbow grease does the trick without worrying about grinding away the cardboard. Still makes a mess, but doesn't sling it all over the place.
