I have used Ultra Gray RTV in the past, whats the best thread sealant for the head bolts where they run into the water jackets?

I use the liquid thread sealant from loctite. Not sure on the number.
Rtv would alter your torque readings wouldn't it?

We used that permetex thread sealant w/ PTFE ...worked great. Item number 80632. I'm not sure if its glycol resistant but that's what your going to really want
