Definately ignition related. Could be the TFI module, distributor pick up or maybe the coil but I doubt it on the coil.

i think i narrowed it to the distributor pick up. i wiggled the wires and it started right up.Originally posted by thesourceDefinately ignition related. Could be the TFI module, distributor pick up or maybe the coil but I doubt it on the coil.

i have been down that road and if you decide to replace the pick-up coil in the dizzy, then only use a Motorcraft pick-up coil. i have had 2 brand new "house" brands, one from AZ and one from O'reilly's, and they were both defective out of the box. Morocraft pickup coil works great.Originally posted by marcs95gt View Posti think i narrowed it to the distributor pick up. i wiggled the wires and it started right up.
it is easy to replace, but if the stock dizzy bushings are worn out, then it is MSD time.
