  • Bought my first diesel...

School me on maintenance and what to do and not do. I've read about fuel system issues with these 6.7L engines. Is that a common thing? What are the issues with removing the DPF/Urea system? Thanks.

Purchase an H&S tuner, EGR block off plates (allows you to get a pyro reading), delete exhaust, and add the air intake of your choice. I prefer the AFE cold air kits. As long as you keep up with oil changes and fuel filters you shouldn't have any issues. Mine has 50k miles and has been rock solid. I haven't read about more issues with the 6.7 compared to other diesels.

Massive stacks in the bed or a 10" single exhaust tip. Then you need some truck nutz.

        Other than that, cool truck.

Nice. Could do without the rims, but love the new Fords.

Just drive it and change the oil. The oil life meter is pretty accurate. Don't get the urea on the paint.

The 6.7 is a great motor

I would ask what you're going to be towing with that, but I realize the correct answer would be "whatever the fuck you want."

                Congrats on the purchase.

Diesels love clean air, fuel, and oil. Keep up with the filter changes and it'll last forever.
