1994 gt help

just bought a 1994 gt off of ebay was told it runs perfect no issues......well guess what?

around 3500 rpms it starts bucking and pinging and wont go...

did a full tune up cap rotor wires spark plugs checked fuel pressure changed the injectors....

and it still does it...
113,000 miles 5 speed yellow in color.

any help would be great..

where should I look next.

oh timing is set at 10

Also look at the Maf Sensor, see if the little diode looking pieces have any heavy build up or fuzz on them. If so clean it with Mass airflow sensor cleaner, it's made by CRC and should be available at any parts store.

I've got a complete reman dist with less then 200 miles on it for a 94-95 if ya go that route.

Does fuel pressure hold strong if you mash it above 3500? Have a buddy with a 95 that had the exact same problem ended up being the fuel pump.

Fuel Filter? Verify TPS voltage throughout entire sweep.

I'll check the fuel pressure while driving. I just checked it idling and revving it up

make sure the spout jumper is in place

drove it with the fuel pressure gauge and its fine....I played with the distributor and found the base for the cap was loose so I tightened it but didn't change anything...so I looked inside it and put it back together and it ran worse...so im thinking the distributor is shit...

tps voltage was .95 and 5.25 wide open
