The ABS light went on in my 00 GT and I have not yet run the codes to find out why . The funny thing is if it is real cold (like it has been) the light goes off and all works as it should . Anybody ever have on do this ? I just figured it was a strange situation and wanted to hear some opinions .

check your tire pressures and make sure all four tires are same diameter. It doesn't take much diameter difference to set off a sensor. Also, if the sensor is dirty it could give a bad reading.Originally posted by dumpycapri85 View PostThe ABS light went on in my 00 GT and I have not yet run the codes to find out why . Front and back are a different size but side to side is the same . It has always been that way with big Nitto's out back and smaller in the front . I was thinking dirty sensor also but the temp thing threw me for a loop .Originally posted by aggie97 View Postcheck your tire pressures and make sure all four tires are same diameter. I could see that but I have had this car since new and always had the same tire combo with no issues till now .Originally posted by FOKAI View PostThe 2000 gt I owned started to have the abs light on when I put bigger tires on rears. Figured it was a speed sensor sensing that the rears are turning slower.Big Rooster Racing
