He's actually not as high as most would think. I priced out some mufflers and stuff for my mustang and truck a while back and he was the cheapest all the other recommended places that I called around. And I know his quality is the best of any other exhaust shop I've used in the past.

Now that he's in a smaller shop and Keith is really the only one working there he's come down on the prices than when they used to have the bigger place in Hurst.

I haven't priced him since he was in hurst. I dated his daughter for a short time and couldn't get a discount. I was pissed lol

I tried to use them when they were in Hurst to install my slp's, and they told me they would not install anything aftermarket. I thought pretty odd/stupid for a muffler shop to not mess with aftermarket exhaust.

TI asked for a quote for installing an O/R H pipe and a Mac cat back, they told me they would not install anything used.

Aftermarket is what he does for a living, so I'm guessing there's more to this story. Was your car emissions legal at the time of the request?

Possibly, but I know he won't mess with late model cars that have the cats removed. He's done my last 4 or 5 cars, always does good work, but he keeps them legal.

I called him and asked for price, he never saw the car or asked if it had off road pipes.

This. Way I saw is was if he wasnt gonna make money on the product, he wasnt gonna install.
