  • 5.0 oil leak from head gasket?

As the title says when I put trick flow TW heads on my 94 cobra back in 07 i have always had an oil leak ever since the install. The oil dye shows up on the bottom corner of the #8 cylinder. I have already changed the VC gasket. And installed RTV on the back of the valley ends of the block when I did the head install in 07 and then in 09 when I installed a new ported lower intake. It makes no sense that a head gasket that does not see oil pressure would leak oil like that, but I was just wondering if any one else has had this issue before? It almost has to something on that side when I RTV the back of the intake twice. The PVC and grommet is clean as can be by the way.

Just pull the head and find out. Doesn't take long.

crankcase vented? the only oil passage in the head is the oil drain hole in each end. .
Don't worry about what you can't change.
Do the best you can with what you have.
Be honest, even if it hurts.

I have a open element breather on the passenger valve cover. I'm just going to have to remove the upper intake and get a better look with the black light.
