hood support cylinders for trunk lid
11-15-2010, 11:08 AM
has anyone done this to their FOX coupe? or can it even be done? I hate that rod linkage that hangs under the package tray in my coupe. I want to say that I thought I had seen a coupe here, well at the other site
, that had this done.

you might try using a convertible set-up with the wound springs. idk if you can do that with the internal hinges though

yea it can be done, you just need to make sure you have the correct lifting weight.

I'm thinking maybe it was the corral where I saw a coupe with this done to it.
