  • gt40x heads, x303 cam, stock pistons??

Just got some gt40x heads for my foxbody which already has an x303 cam in it, was wondering if this setup would still clear with my stock pistons, lift on the cam seems a little aggressive but only a 224 duration and 112 lsa. Any thoughts guys?

    Thanks, Eric

nope, will never work, give the heads to me and I'll dispose of them for you.

Seriously though, you'll have to measure PTV I'm sure.

If using a 1.6 RR they will clear just fine but if your using a 1.7 I would check PTV but I doubt those springs will take over a .550 lift.

I think the X cam does need some piston work..
