which vehicle? i have a 3.6 VVT/6 spd auto car that hauls ass..

edit: only issues i have had is when i fill it up with gas, it likes to hesitate when cranking. also they do not have an egr but an air injection valve that can be bitchy at times.

Most of what i see with the GM 3.6's are cam actuator/timing codes caused by timing chains or actuators. I had a Buick Enclave last week that was throwing codes for all the cams and upon inspection found the reluctor wheel on the crank has slipped. GM has multiple TSB on this motor for those codes and have extended the warranty to 10yrs or 120k miles for those engines(09 & up). The crank isn't covered by this warranty so looks like the customer has 2 options, replace the crank/engine or see if the tone wheel can be moved back to spec and secured. Also if its and Traverse, Terrain or Enclave check the front struts, they start to lock up around 60k on those.
