I'm about to need front disc pads. Mine squeak but they are only about 2/3s gone. I might as well change them out, anyone have a brand they can recommend. I never keep a car long enough to change the brake pads, but I'm keeping the 5.0 so give me some ideas...

No I have not, but I might try it. Thing is, it only does it when its cold or been sitting awhile. Once it goes through a few cycles it will not squeak. It's just annoying more than anything else. Once I heard it more than a few times I decided to check and they are pretty low.Originally posted by Chili View PostHave you tried just going through the "bedding" process again? I know that has worked for me in the past. At least so you don't have to hear the squeak between now and when you actually change them out..
It has to be these sticky Michelins I put on in January, the pads were fine and now they are almost worn out.

I went ahead and ordered the thermo quiet ceramics, not a bad price and they have great reviews.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.
