recommendations for an automatic tranny rebuild shop?

I've never used Mike's, but I have used Phoenix. They rebuilt the 4L60E in my Impala and it held up well before I replaced it with a TH400. Just sharing my experience.

I'd call Mike for a price and then see what you can get a reman for. 4L80es are fairly cheap compared to the other two options.

Jakes out in Sanger has a good rep with 4l80e, but I have always had good service from phoenix. Been dealing with them for over twenty years.
