      Anyone know how thick the stock trw forged piston crown is that came in the 87-92 5.0?

      Reason I ask is because I'm about .135" maybe .140" into this one. Stock reliefs are about .107"ish.

              the valve relief wall isn't a factor, the piston would have to have too much slack to run to ever hit on the side. all you need on the flat is .080 on the intake. https://www.fordmuscle.com/fundamentals/pistontovalve/
