Installing drag launch springs.

Any input is needed, the car is down and i cannot get the springs in. maximum motorsports has a install kit. I ordered it and will have to wait, in the meantime, you guys know any tricks?

i would but last time it broke and the spring shot across the shop, woulda killed someone if it hit em. be careful, and yes they are a bitch to get in

Ratchet straps and release them real slow.

I did it once on a car that the motor wasn't in the car. By far the hardest job I have ever done.

Still nothing, i am going to fab up a tool that i think will work. My version of maximum motorsports.

u can rent the spring compressor from oreilly's did two sets a couple of months ago.

Success, the ratchet straps worked out great. a bit nerve racking. And i also made a bracket to push spring into cup as you lift arm. worked great.

glad you got them in... i had some guys put mine in and they had to use spring compressors and straps lol...
