that's about a year away. I want this thing to have more power than the 12 GT500 we almost bought a year ago.

So I put the clutch spring in yesterday. Holy Smokes!!! what a huge difference. Still waiting on the exhaust, but I think a shifter is next.

I thought the 'no tune' CAIs usually hurt power since the filter element is open to the underhood heat. Just what I've heard.

That's why you go with a closed CAI.

man I can't wait! Also might check with you on springs in a bit. Mods are a slippery slope, and I seem to have lost my footing. lol

Also my son has found a few Dealers that are "mod" friendly. There are some mods that if installed at the dealer, doesn't call the warranty into question. He has full headers, all the way back and SS. Lowered, clutch spring, Intake, Tune, heavier links and tires.

if you've got a standard, just a regular SCT is fine. you can tweak a lot of stuff

if something goes wrong and I have to take it in, even if I reset it to factory, can they see it was tuned before?
