  • EEC-IV capacitor repair/replace...

I have learned I have to replace three capacitors in my A9P.
-Can anyone point me to a local source for the correct capacitors?
-Has anyone here done this before, and would you like to do it again? Beer can be involved.
    Let me know PDQ, please.

You can probably buy a reman cheaper than you can have that one fixed. I bought one for a 91 ranger for about 100 bux awhile back. Looks like they are about 150 on the net

I used to "rebuild" Cadi DFI boxes long time ago. The fuel pump run
transistor would always fail. They were single boards and easy to
suck all the solder off and re-solder a new better 2 buck part on.
Took less than 1 hour and 2 bucks for $350.

Look for parts at Tanner Elec. of 35 and N of 635

-I was able to find one to buy close to home
              - Good luck getting a reman from a local parts house.

A major supplier of electronic parts is Mouser in Mansfield, TX.

Helpful folks in finding parts. I use them often and many times get the parts the next day.
