Jumper the relay to the ac compressor. If your not familiar with the setup look at the side of the relay it has a diagram. I always get a pot of boiling water and put the can in it. 2.5 cans is usually good. How much is in the system?

With system off the psi will be about ambient temp.

Nothing is in the system, I thought when I removed the switches that I would open the system so I had the system drained

Ok. With the system pulled down go boil some water in a pot. Have your can hooked up ready to go but don't pierce the top with the fitting till you drop it in the water. Once it gets some refrigerant in it should start cycling. Listen for the low and high fans coming on.

So u don't think it's the compressor?? I didn't wanna fill it back up then have to drain it again to replace the compressor

engage the compressor by jumpering the relay thats how I would check it out. its tough to fix it over the internet it could be a bunch of things.

Gonna get out there tomorrow and mess it with again, will need to figure out out to jump the relay

I would start by taking it someone who knows what they're doing and quit listening to the poor advise in here. The only smart question I've seen was from Stephen.. You are going to spend way more money guessing....

If you don't know don't mess with it. You can fry your ecu if you don't know what your doing.

automatice temp control on the dash? As in, you set the temp to 63 degrees?

If you find out what it is post it up because I have an 03 doing the same thing. I am just guessing but I think it is in the ATC unit that controls the air temp because the compressor does not come on which is why it is not cooling when it comes on it cools fine. Post up if you find the problem.

I get calls frequently for the automatic temp controler, they are pretty pricey.
