  • Ecoboost trucks without cats, how are you preventing cel?

On my piece of shit slowbalt, I have an extended and angled bung (hehe, bung) that allows me to keep the second 02 on and prevent cel codes.

How is this being done on the f150 ecoboost trucks? Are people just turning off their rear o2 sensors or reporting from them?

You have a catless Cobalt? At least an SS?

Thanks for the slowbalt input, but uh, shit, I was actually hoping for some helpful input on what to do with this vehicle.

The right device could potentially be hooked up, and you could tell it to no longer report the code. You'd have to find someone though

You know this is wrong forum for that. Obviously you should look into tuners that have an O2 delete feature such as the Cobalt folks do. Simple

I figured more people here owned an ecoboost truck than they do a mustang.

So, this thing is super quiet. I want more woosh sound, and want to free up the exhaust before tuning it. I guess I'll have to sign up to a god damn truck forum now.

I've heard the trucks with down pipes and cat backs and you can hear the turbo at the exhaust. The trade off is the v6 sound that comes with the exhaust. You may like it, but I'm not too fond of it. There is an exhaust out there for them that has a "J" pipe in it to cut down on the resonance.
