Putting on new carpet and wanted to install some sound deadner under the new carpet, any recommendations??

Quick and dirty, or doing it for max sound deadening? If you want the max, add a layer of closed cell foam, and then a layer of mass loaded vinyl on top of the dnyamat or whatever other one you choose. I'd use these guys for the doors and the trunk, and likely the floor. Don't know if they sell the vinyl and the foam though.

We ordered a Ford Transit passenger wagon and I'm quite probably going to do a full package from SDS on the Transit. We did an extended test drive and I struggled to hear my kids talking to me from the middle or back rows. We have also used their stuff on the last two trucks and have been happy with the results. There is really no need to do 100% coverage with the CLD material which helps with cost.Originally posted by TX_92_Notch View Post
