I bought stuff from SS stores on Polk and Buckner. Also, from McClure Motorsports. Richard gave me a ride in a Vortech car and I was instantly hooked.

Was it his dark blue or black coupe (cant remember which)? That was the first Fox car that I raced that hung with me, I drove a Buick GN back then with Weld wheels and a 100hp shot of n2o. That coupe was at my quarter most of the race, he had ported 289hipo heads and whatever else was available in '87. Richard was a strange dude!
